What Are The Types of Car Paint?


In general, the car body paint has at least three layers: primer coating, base coating and clear coating. There is also an intermediate coating between the primer and the paint for medium and high speed cars. The metallic paint and non-metallic paint belongs to base coat. 
For the metal paint and non-metallic paint, the outermost layer are covered with varnish, must meet the same technical requirements.

Metallic paint  is a popular automobile finish. It is added aluminum particles, the light incident on the aluminum particles, aluminum particles has been reflected through the gas film. Therefore, it looks like metal shining. Change the shape and size of the aluminum particles can control flash of metallic paint. Metallic paint is added a layer of varnish to protect it.
