Automotive Refinish Coating Process

There are two kinds of automotive refinish coating methods, one is common air spraying, the other is electrostatic air spraying. General painting process: the first is outside repair part flatness including scraping gray, sheet metal correction, then is coarse sanding, fine sanding then we should wipe the car clean, spray the coating and repair topcoat, of course, deal with the mist at the edge, the final step is the curing by low or high temperatures, then polishing.

Metallic paint  is a popular automobile finish. It is added aluminum particles, the light incident on the aluminum particles, aluminum particles has been reflected through the gas film. Therefore, it looks like metal shining. Change the shape and size of the aluminum particles can control flash of metallic paint. Metallic paint is added a layer of varnish to protect it.
